After graduating from Markham District High School I accepted a scholarship to Simon Fraser University; majoring in Kinesiology. After an all-American senior year in 1991, I was selected first overall in the CFL draft by the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Before beginning my career in the CFL I had signed and went to training camp with the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. Returning to Canada I began a rewarding career in the CFL playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Ottawa Roughriders, Edmonton Eskimos and finally the B.C. Lions.
During my career I was faced with many injuries, some of which did not respond well to conventional therapy. Thus began my interest in alternative medicine and nutrition. Shortly after retiring I pursued professional training at the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine.
I am always willing to talk about health issues, football, homeopathy and alternative medicine in general. As more people turn to alternative medicine for answers to their health issues I believe that having the right information is essential. There can be much confusion when deciding which modality you should seek out in order to improve your health.
